Mrs. Pender loves to garden, golf, make baby quilts for her grandchildren and read. She also enjoys sharing devotions at Tabitha House, a residential facility for women.

Her favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20:
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Mrs. Karen Pender, Administrator
Mrs. Pender began working in education in 1981. She has served as Calvary Academy’s administrator since July of 1989.

Dr. Angela Collins, Principal​
Dr. Angela Collins began her educational career in 2004. She has served as Calvary Academy’s principal since June of 2022.

Mrs. May Chappell, Dean of Students
Mrs. Chappell has served in education in various capacities since 2013. She has taught elementary music, first and second grade, served as a business administrator, and as Head of School for an alternative Christian high school. She has also served as a contracted school therapist/counselor before coming to Calvary in September of 2023.

​Mrs. Chappell and her husband have four children and pastor a church in Sauk village. She loves to spend time with her family!
