Serving as Head of School has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. During my first year at Calvary, I quickly discovered that this is much more than a school—it is a Christ-centered community where students are known, families are valued, and every child is encouraged to discover God's purpose for their life.

Throughout my career in education, I have had the opportunity to serve students and families in many different settings. Yet, one of the experiences that has shaped me most was not as an educator; it was as a parent.

My husband, Brian, and I made the decision many years ago to enroll each of our children in Christian schools. Like many families, we understood the financial sacrifice that decision required. There were times when it wasn't easy, but looking back, we can say without hesitation that it was one of the greatest investments we ever made. For us, it wasn't simply about receiving an excellent education. It was about ensuring that the values and biblical truths we were teaching at home were reinforced every day at school. We wanted our children to learn from teachers who loved Christ, to build friendships rooted in faith, and to understand that every subject points back to God's truth.

Today, our children are adults who love the Lord and are serving Him in their own unique callings. While no school can replace the influence of parents, I believe Christian education provided an invaluable partnership that helped strengthen the spiritual foundation we were building at home.

That is why I am so passionate about Calvary Christian School.

Over my first year here, I have come to know Calvary as a place where the partnership between home, church, and school is genuine. Our families are engaged. Our teachers care deeply about each child. Our staff sees education as a ministry, not merely a profession. Together, we are committed to developing students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. I have also witnessed a school that is continually growing. From enhancing our learning environments to expanding student opportunities and strengthening our programs, every improvement is made with one goal in mind—to provide the very best Christ-centered education for every child God entrusts to us.

Most of all, I have come to know Calvary as a place of hope. Here, students are challenged to pursue academic excellence while growing in character, compassion, leadership, and faith. They are encouraged to ask questions, discover their God-given gifts, serve others, and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe every child has been created with purpose, and it is our joy to help them grow into all God has called them to be.
