Physical Education

“The world would have us believe that winning or success is measured by points on a scoreboard.  The Christian realizes that winning is determinedly whether or not a goal has been achieved, and that goal is to bring glory to God.”

--Thomas A. Boqdon

All students need physical education because we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and should honor God with our bodies.  We have to be physically fit, as our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 6:19).

The Bible speaks of running the race.  Exercise and games provide many illustrations of the Christian life, and the goal we are trying to reach, which is bringing glory to God.
God is our Creator, the reason why we are able to walk, run, hop, skip, compete and enjoy activities.  “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”  Colossians 3:17
